Want to experience the life of a Civil War Artilleryman?
From June 29 to July 4, 1999, the Chesapeake Artillery, Inc., a not-for-profit
living history organization chartered in the State of Maryland, will be conducting
our third annual Summer Camp. A select number of individuals will be trained to
operate full-scale Civil War Artillery safely and effectively. Participants receive
instruction and information useful to beginning reenacting or furthering one's
reenacting experience. We have an instructor to pupil ratio of less than 5:1 for
safe, personal instruction.
Our camp is open to all individuals 15 years or older.
The camp is conducted every year in conjunction with the Gettysburg Anniversary
reenactment. Camp participants are automatically registered for the reenactment.
Only $395 for 6 days and 5 nights!
No other Artillery School can compare to this great experience! You get your
meals, lodging and participate in a major reenactment, with artillery, for
less than $400. Do you want to go to the first Artillery School, or the best?
Simply mail this application and your $175 deposit, and we will save you a spot in the
hottest Summer Camp experience of your life.
1999 dates are set! Don't miss out! Reserve your spot NOW in the Artillery!
